The Táltos and Nimród boats are the new tourist attractions of Budapest, newly built catamarans on the Danube, which perfectly fit the image of the Hungarian capital – a bit of cool, a drop of design, a touch of elegance, and undeniably XXIst century.
Both boats offer their own thematic show and a 4-course dinner. The Táltos is home to a piano duel, while the Nimród hosts an authentic folklore show. During the 3-hour Danube cruise the magical Budapest cityscape, including the Buda Castle World Heritage site, serves as the background to the dinner.
There are very few sightseeing boats of their kind on the rivers of Europe. They have a large and air-conditioned room, making the boats ideal venues for corporate events and functions, conferences, weddings, music performances and gala dinners.
We are happy to provide a smaller, separate area for business dinners, meetings and family get-togethers, while the whole boat is for rent for larger scale events and weddings. The terrace on top of the boat is ideal for intimate standing receptions.
2017 will see the arrival of the new, big, luxury event boat, which is deigned to host complex and large-scale functions.
The programme of the Táltos dinner boat
The duel of the pianists is an extraordinary show filled with humour and emotion. With the help of our hostesses we translate the sometimes painful, sometimes happy melodies of the piano into human language.
The programme of the Nimród dinner boat
Where traditional Hungarian folk art and gastronomy merge. During the dinner a quartet of fine musicians plays authentic Hungarian music – with a few popular operetta melodies in between the songs, which is followed by an hour of Hungarian folk dance.
