Introduction
Nowadays as the world of gastronomy is opening up, our guests are becoming more and more savvy in cheeses, wines and palinkas, and often they are aware of differences in quality, vintage or region too. Professionals face thoroughly new challenges when the guest is a gourmet, especially that most of the ingredients are available in any local supermarket.
Neither is it true any more that we can learn the most from our guests – today it is us who is supposed to present special novelties and world trends to them.
Hence the need in gastronomy, just like in business life, for a continuous renewal. We resemble the international stock broker in focusing all our senses on what is new – in our case in the world of gastronomy.
This makes it possible for us to surprise our guests and partners with the latest inventions, from month to month.
15 years of gastronomy - Waldorf Catering

1997 - The Pioneer
At the end of the 1990s Waldorf Catering was launched, representing a five-star gastronomic concept. Initially specialised in catering for business events, it made a debut as a pioneer in party services in Hungary.

2000 - The Trend Maker
Waldorf owns logistic center- and warehouse weres built to serve its partners more flexibly. Since the Millenium numerous innovations has been attaching to the company, and these creative food compositions have contribute to the success of prestige events.

2004 - The Gastro Ambassador
The Menu of Waldorf Catering became unique in all its flavours, by establishing its own kitchen, thus becoming market leader in the quality of its services.

2006 - The Designer
A special service counter system was born, based on Waldorf’s own design, named Waldorf Art. Its unorthodox form and airy appearance created a modern, minimalist trend. It re-defined the techniques of positioning and composing dishes in the whole of Hungary.

2009 - The Milestone
The headquarters of Waldorf Catering was built, housing a fully equipped, cutting-edge technology kitchen, the business units of the party service, and the offices. With this investment a new era began in Waldorf’s life: the newly organised production processes brought international quality, reliabilityand efficiency.

2010 - The Specialist
Waldorf’s product- and service portfolio is determined by international trends and the demand of the domestic market: besides business events, we now offer a new line of business in the area of the private sector. Waldorf launched an R&D Programme to promote local purchasing and using traditional Hungarian ingredients, as well as organic products.
