Károlyi-Csekonics Residence

The story of building this residence reaches back to the dualist times of the 19th century. The area today also known as Palace District has always attracted several wealthy families. The proximity of the old Parliament and the National Museum inspired the rich aristocrats to build or buy their homes in this area. This residence was a wedding gift to Margaret Csekonics from her parents who commissioned the Vienna architects, Fellner and Hellmer to design and build this building. The Opera House and Víg Theatre are also their works.
Rooms to rent
Hall
In the Hall there is the imposing and unique round staircase. This room is perfectly suitable for standing receptions, cocktail parties, but also for press conferences, and wedding photo shoots. In case of a larger conference this area can house the registration counter.
Capacity: 150 people
Ballroom
The biggest room of the residence. It is spacious, light and is suitable both for conferences, receptions, balls, weddings, gala dinners and large press conferences. In case of big events it can serve as the dinner room
Capacity: 300 people
Csekonics Room
Due to its size and representative setting it is suitable for almost all types of events, from weddings to conferences and press conferences. The fireplace in this room, as well as the balcony can be a nice background for photographs. From the Csekonics Room there opens the Sándor Wekerle Memory Room and the Károlyi Room.
Capacity: 70-100 people
Károlyi Room
It is a smaller room on the left side of Csekonics Room. Apart from smaller press conferences and standing receptions, it can be used as service area in case the event takes the other rooms.
Capacity: 50 people
Projector Room
This modern, sound insulated projector room stands out from the traditional interiors. It can seat almost 100 people, organised as a cinema, suitable for projections at conferences, press conferences and independent events. There is a smaller adjacent room, therefore interpretation is also possible.

Korshak Events Centre

The Event Centre in Százhalombatta opened its gates in the spring of 2010, in the heart of the town. The imposing building, due to its special technical conditions, is able to house multiple events at a time, be them temporary exhibitions or cultural events. The Event Centre has two 470-square-metre rooms which can be divided into many smaller ones by a mobile system of walls. The rooms are equipped with cutting-edge technology and air conditioning, as well as sound insulated. Furniture is also available.
It is a modern, fully equipped room with wonderful view over the newly reconstructed main square of Százhalombatta.
